Accessibility, by default.

We hold ourselves to WCAG 2.2 AA as a working standard across the platform and this website. That means designing, building and testing for it — not treating it as a compliance exercise.

What WCAG 2.2 AA means in practice.

These are the specific things we hold ourselves to across every surface.

Keyboard support

Every interactive surface on this site is reachable, operable and visible on the keyboard alone. Focus indicators are deliberate and consistent.

Colour and contrast

Text contrast is checked against WCAG 2.2 AA. Colour is never the only signal for meaning — icons, text and structure carry it too.

Reduced motion

Motion respects the operating-system prefers-reduced-motion setting site-wide. Illustrations that animate have a complete still fallback.

Semantic structure

Pages use meaningful headings, landmarks and lists. Assistive technology sees the same structure a sighted reader does.

Forms and errors

Form fields are labelled, errors are announced, and inline validation never depends on colour alone.

Media alternatives

Meaningful images carry alt text; decorative images are marked as such so screen readers can skip them.

Honesty over polish.

We publish known accessibility limitations rather than claim conformance we haven't verified.
